What it does

Tired of manually digging into precomps? PrecompTools gives you two tools that live right inside After Effects.

① Un-Precompose

Select one or more precomp layers and extract all their contents directly into the parent composition — instantly, with keyframes and transforms intact.

② Extend precompositions

Select precomp layers, type a new duration in seconds or timecode (HH:MM:SS:FF), and extend everything inside — automatically.
